YOZ!!
im back in spore!!!
lolz
jus came back from a 8-day trip to thailand...
went for the SEA Games weiqi demonstration...
quite fun lah
at least got to stay in the atheletes village...
anywaiz
shall tok bout it...
DAY 1
Singapore-Thailand(Bangkok)
aft reaching bangkok at thai time 8 plus(which is one hour earlier than spore time)
we waited quite a while 4 some things 2 b settled...
then went downstairs of the nice airport
for this Id card thingy to b made...
quite cool lah
our photo was taken on the spot n the ID was made quite fast too...
oya n got a certificate of participation in sea games O.o
aft daat went to this resort/trng centre called tara park
was lke 11plus 12 by the time we reach...(from now onwards is thai time...)
then i was roomed with cute LITTLE kaiwen(:
the place is so nice
quiet n peaceful
n they always have cup noodles
so when we reach there
had supper of cup noodles cos dinner was on plane n not v filling...
the onli bad thing is dat theree was freaking a lot of flies...
n mosquitoes...
so u can feel things touching u from time to time
n then u start trying to shoo it away...
which is quite gross
aft dat was zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.....
DAY 2
woke up early...ate a simple breakfast
then set off
to korat
nakhon ratchasima
suranaree university of technology...
long name huh
not so bad lah
the ride
sat bside kaiwen
halfway in btween stopped for 'breakfast'
at some wonderfull place
got one super big resevoir...
tot it was the sea...
stayed dere 4 quite a while...
played few rounds of taiti
lol
n then went to take a lot of photos

n a photo of everbody including all the other countries
btw onli 5 countries went
spore thai msia ina(which is indonesia i dun noe y)n myanma
dere were 3 korean frenz hu went to look c look c too...
aft having some 'tea' we went to some place not far 4 lunch
food v nice
got 'isolated' n sat with kaiwen jia cheng n to other msia frenz
got to noe them better
n got to noe some news from the auntie n uncle...
aft dat finally went to the athelets village...
THE PLACE IS HUGE!!!!!!!!
no seriously
when we went in...the university is lyke
so huge
dere is no boundary
dere was onnli the boundary to block none atheletes from gng in but outsside the main gate is actually still the university
later learned dat half of the forest surrounding the uni actually belongs to the uni...
ok so when we went inside the village..
o btw hui zang,james,bo fu uncle,fu xian sheng n kang lao shi's wife n con couldnt go in cos they r not atheletes,,,
ok so when we went into the village...
we took a bus to where all the spore atheletes r living
which is bside the dining area 4 ALL the atheletes...
but when we went dere..they told us dere were no reservations 4 us...
n the sport council guy came in
n the 1st thing he said was
wad r udng here!u r not suppose to b here u noe?how come mr tan(hui zang) never tell me at all?
im lyke..wth
as in woalao
he say until lyke our fault lyke dat loh
ok even if it is really our fault
oso no nid to b so rude rite
we were all freaking tired from the ride n the 1st thing we got was a shouting from our fello singaporean...
wth
at least the thais dere were v nice n immediately brought in more chairs 4 us to sit n brought in lots of drink lyke milo
at least they noe how to treat other ppl
k anywai
we ended up waiting dere 4 more than an hor
but luckily outside the office we were in had some computers 4 us to use n ppl hu brought their laptops had wireless connection...
n when we ask the sports council guy if we can participats in the opening ceremony he said NO!u dun hav the formal jacket
of course we dun hav lah
b4 we went dere in spore we hav alrd asked 4 it n the sports council refused to give us cos weiqi was onli a demonstration event(which means the medals we get wld not b sounted into the official medal tally)
so yah.
dat was our 'welcome to sea games'
then we qiu jiu from chung ling's father, fu xian sheng by calling him to contact hui zang...
then wonderfully
every1 had to go 4 the sea games opening rehersal
finally aft we got to noe where we can stay...
we got 'banished' all the way to where the laos atheltes stay
*sobs*
it was 1 of the furthest block 4rom the dining area...
but the onli funny thing is dat when we went dere
the person ic told us that the thai weiqi team was oso living inthe same block as us!!!
wow looksl lyke we werent the onli ones 2 b 'banished'
then it was zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
DAY 3
ahhh
leisure dae...
had breakfast
then aft dat met those living in the resort n went of to visit this factory
cp factory
the 1 dat has the frozen wantan in a bowl
but the one we went was the production of frozen chiken (assorted)
a bit gross...
u c the live chiken in the cages
but the nextt room u go to,
all dead...

n stuff like dat
quite cool lah
aft had lunch dere
n as u can guess
we got to eat the products they made
aft lunch went to a historical site
old old temple
quite cool
but v hot
haha

n found out dat yang lao shi loves to take photos
everytime i c him he is takin photos of himself with the help of si nee from msia
lol
aft dat had a free evening where we went to the village centre where all the souveneirs r sold
didnt buy anything dat nite cos 4got to bring more $
but munyi chuang ling zhang xiang n jia cheng bought a yellow jacket each which cosst 1400 bucks
arnd $50+
i wanted a blue one which is half the price but not so gd quality but had no $
so yup
went back to the room to practice a littleb4 we went 2 sleep
DAY 4(1st dae of comp)
got to the comp venue
cool man
its so nig n dere were like our name card n ou country flag bside m everything
comp started out well
played pair go with siong hwai
rule:1.5 hours for each side plus blitz 15 moves in 10 mins(which means dat aft u use finish the 1.5 hrs u got 10mins to play 15 moves n if u manage 2 do dat, the 10mins will reset
so yup
1st round vs ina
super quick game...
in fact the fastest game any1 hav played in this comp
onli took 40mins
then the guy cld not take it n resigned...
cool
onli 40mins...
then aft dat when most ppl finish went back to the dining hall to eat lunch
da bao 4 jia cheng kai munyi n yang laho shi(hu stayed to 'look aft them')
but realised dat they had lunch alrd
but jia cheng n kaiwen played the longest game any1 had played(it last from 9-1.30pm) vs thai but they won by 1/2 in the end
2nd game was zhi ji ren da zhi ji ren
me siong hwai vs jia cheng kaiwen
wonderful
in the end we lost*sobs*
but ok lah
they oso v strong
n then came the 3rd round!!!!!
the most interestin n exciting round...
we vs myanma
it was aft dinner
n the whole myanma team arrived almost 15mins late.
:Pme n siong hwai were counting down hoping dat they wldnt make it cos if u r late by 15mins u wld los by default.
but anywai
i didnt play v well n we were losing
siong hwai was lyke 'black face' n walking around giveng up liao
then all of a sudden one of our 'tot wld die' piece was linked back!
siong hwai 'woke up' immediately(according to fu xian sheng)
haha
then we played on...
no one having the tot to surrender n it went on to blitz...
then 10pm
then cos of some big changes in the game...we stared to b on the losing side again...
then when it was the myanma gal's turn she tot 4 v long
i was a critical move
but the time left 4 them was 20s n they still had 2 moves
the guy was fast n he wld make it in time but it was the gal's turn
the guy didnt remind the girl of the time at all
then me n siong hwai began staring at the clock...

no 1 cld believe dat we actually won by forfeit loh
aft fighting 4 4 hours
we actually won by forfeit
the game finally ended at exactly 11pm in the night
from 7pm-11pm
immediately the guy was lyke saying in a scolding voice n pointing to the girl n the clock from time to time
even yang lao shi was shocked
so dat was the most exciting game...
DAY 4
first round...
vs thai
sad round...lost to them by 3
could hav won if i had played one move correctly
how regretable...
the other 2 sets were victorius vs msia
DAY 5
1onli had last 2 sets
pair go onli hav 8sets in total cost myanma onli sent one team but individual had 9 sets in total cost for them all the countries sent 2 ppl
1st set ws easy set vs msia
but the 2nd set was the important one
if we win
we get 2nd
if we lose
we get nothing(4th)
so yup
it was vs thai
n guess wad
cos of me again
we lost

yup
cld hav one
if i played one move correctly
one of their big piece wld hav died n we wld hav won
but yah
i was lyke super super sad
n still m
as in seriously
but nvm
shldnt cry over spilled milk if tis is how u sae it
then when we got back
every1 was relaxing alrd
cos the last dat i had no sets cos lun kong
n then jia cheng kaiwen they dun play oso can cos confirm get gold alrd
n then kang lao shi n zhang xiang vs each other oso nvm alrd cos confirm onr gold one silver
n chuan ling vs munyi oso nvm
cos if chuanling wins she get 4th
of munyi win she gets 5th
so dat nite we all played taiti
then zhang xiang lost n had to do a forfeit of thai dance but it was too late so we decided to do it the next day
aft chuanling n kaiwen went back 2 our room to sleep first, we found chuanling's blog n found out bout her bf...
n then some1 found my blog...hmph...

everything easy
final results:
me n siong hwai:wins 5/8(4th pos)
jia cheng kaiwen: wins 8/8(1st!!!!!)
munyi:5/9(5th)
chuanling:wins 4/9(6th)
zhangxiang:wins 8/9(2nd!!!!!)
kang lao shi:wins 9/9 (1st!!!)
yup so dat was the final result
dere was the official prize giving ceremony
well aft dat went 'shopping' at the village centre
bought the blue jacket i wanted...
at 1st no stock but ordered the dae b4 when i bought other stuff(secret)
aft went bac to our rooms n then jia cheng revealed the most important thing in his life!!!!
his gf's pic n name!!!

laughed the whole nite...
DAY 7
left the atheletes village
to tara park again
then aft dat went 4 some shopping where we bought loads of doughnuts 4 supper n jia cheng n chuanling bought some stuff for their gf n bf respectively...
at nite aft dinner n some zhi dao qi
we played taiti
haha so funny
those hu lost had to eat the leftover doughnuts which no1 cld finish

packed things
*sobs*
then left 4 airport
ate cup noodles 4 so called breakfast..
when we reached the airport
had linch at some retaurant
thanks reaching out to fu xian sheng hu treated us to lunch(:arigato
n then finally came back to spore...
well dats all i guess...
even though there r some thingsdat happened in btween but dats too much so nvm
well some1 bhind me tryin 2 use the com liao so better go
